Tori is going to the Metropolitan Opera House with ABT!
As the lighting production assistant, Tori Mays is spending her summer in the big apple with American Ballet Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera House for their summer season! She is so excited to be working with Kriss Kloss and Brad Fields! Definitely, one to check off the bucket list!

USITT Young Designer: Barbizon Lighting Design Winner Announced!
Tori Mays is the recipient of the 2018 USITT Young Designer Barbizon Lighting Design Award! She is eternally grateful to be receiving this award in honor of one of her best friends, Jonathan Resnick.

ETC Live Design International Sponsorship Winners Announced
The winners of the ETC LDI Sponsorship have been announced, and Tori Mays is one of the seven reciepts! The sponsorship covers travel expenses, hotel and accomidations, and conference registration. It also provides an amazing opportunity to be paired with an industry professional to serve as a career mentor! Tori is so grateful and appreciative of this opportunity and is so excited for the conference in November.

Tori's first lighting design at Arizona Repertory Theatre opens November 9th at the Marroney Theatre in Tucson, AZ. Tori Mays has been nominated for the Best Lighting Design award for her design of The Birds at the Huron Playhouse this past summer. Tori is headed to the University of Arizona!
Tori is excited to embark on the next adventure of her life...Graduate School! She is attending the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ to persue a MFA in Lighting Design. Tori is looking forward to this opportunity and learning more abour her craft. Wish her luck!
